Supply of replicas of historic racing plates from the World Rally Championships (and other international competitions)

Content and material
Choice between four types of license plates:

sticker replicas
mirror adhesive replicas
replicas on aluminum support
replicas on aluminum with embossed edges, brands and lettering

Unlike most replicas made by other retailers, all replicas of historic license plates made by Pubblimais will have unique characteristics and will be faithful to the original in size, color, and graphics. The license plate replicas will therefore not have standard dimensions and generic graphics that are the same for every year, but will faithfully reflect the year of the edition being replicated. This is made possible thanks to Pubblimais' vast technical and photographic archive of historic rally plates from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s (especially those related to the World Rally Championships), an archive that allows the original plates to be recreated down to the smallest details. For example, the replica of the 1986 Rallye Monte-Carlo license plate will differ slightly from that of the 1987 Rallye Monte-Carlo, and so on.

Sticker Replicas
Digitally printed replica adhesive license plates, laminated to protect against atmospheric agents and UV rays.

Rear window sticker replicas (for specific Rallies only)
Replica mirror-image adhesive license plates (printed in negative) that were attached to the inside of the rear window.

Aluminum Replicas
Replica license plates on a rigid, shaped aluminum support. The plates can be riveted to the hood of a vehicle or attached with double-sided tape for a very strong hold. Furthermore, although rigid, the material can also be bent and deformed to perfectly match the position of the original license plates on the bodywork (for example, plates for the rear bumper or front hood of the Lancia Delta Integrale).

Replicas with raised edges and lettering, like the originals (only for specific Rallies)
At the time of the World Rally Championships, some rally plates—such as those for Monte Carlo, Sanremo, Tour de Corse, and Lombard RAC—were not flat but had raised edges and lettering. Some national and international races, such as the Rally Coupe des Alpes, also featured these features. Pubblimais can faithfully replicate these plates, so if the original plate was raised, you can request a replica. These plates can be riveted to the hood of a vehicle or attached with double-sided tape for a very strong hold. Furthermore, even though the material is aluminum, it can also be bent and deformed to perfectly match the position of the original plates on the bodywork.

Note: The embossed plates we produce will be very faithful to the originals in terms of the front, or "visible," side. The only substantial difference compared to the original plates of the time is that the back will be completely flat. However, once the plate is attached to the vehicle, the back side will no longer be visible.

Extra costs for graphic reconstructions
For all requests for replicas of World Rally Championship plates from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, there will be no additional costs for any graphic reconstructions. For all other requests (European Championships, Coupes des Alpes, Giro d'Italia, Costa Smeralda, Rally Elba, S. Martino di Castrozza, Ypres, Sestrieres, Rally della Lana, etc.), any graphic reconstructions may incur additional costs that will be quantified.
